Welcome to the website of The Finchley & Friern Barnet Operatic Society

We are proud to present our next show, SWEET CHARITY.
This will be on Tuesday 15th to Saturday 19th April 2008 at the Millfield Theatre.

“Sweet Charity”, a warm hearted musical which opened at the Palace Theatre in New York in 1966, revolves around a dance hall hostess named Charity who is desperately seeking love, marriage and respectability. She becomes involved with Vittorio Vidal, anItalian film star, and Oscar Lindquist, a neurotic accountant who she is set to marry until her job comes between them. This show is full of very well known songs, such as Big Spender, Rythym of Life, If my Friends Could See me Now, I Love to Cry at Weddings and so on.
